everyone can learn reiki - welcome!

a shihan (teacher) performs a sacred initiation called 'reiju' (attunement), which transfers the ability to act as a reiki conduit to the student. we'll spend time in class sharing reiki ideas, history, techniques, and practicing reiki together. you'll meet new healing tools that will last for the rest of your life. and laugh a lot.

in the week before your class, I'll email your group with all the nuts and bolts. in class, we discuss reiki, float happily through reiki attunements, and enjoy the magic of laying on of hands. all classes include teaching materials, attunement, practice time, certificate, and are held in a safe, nurturing setting. classes are listed here in 'to do' order.

this playful and thorough introductory reiki class connects you to reiki and teaches the fundamentals of reiki ideas, history, and techniques. you'll experience reiki energy, and be able to treat yourself and others for the rest of your life. includes discussion of five main ideas, reiki attunement, experiential practice time, teaching materials, reiki certificate, and is held in a safe and nurturing space. feeling reiki flowing through your hands for the first time is magic! two day intensive, offered quarterly, noon-8pm, $395

this class is a beautiful deepening of reiki, and introduces distant healing. we learn to send reiki forward and backward in time, and over long distances, using the first three sacred reiki symbols. we'll play with crayons, work on the table with our new symbols, and practice five different distant reiki techniques, including a reiki crystal grid that you take home with you. course includes reiki attunement, reiki grid, practice time, reiki teaching materials, and your reiki certificate. shinpiden level: reiki master class*
two day intensive, offered three times annually, noon-8pm, $795
mar 16-17, jun 15-16, sept 21-22

shinpiden can be translated as walking the mystery. some take this class to enhance their spiritual path. some learn shinpiden to start a healing practice, and some teach reiki. you'll learn the master symbol and practice attuning people - incredible magic. shinpiden is a commitment to walk a spiritual path in your life, and the self undergoes deep healing on all levels. includes preparatory questions, teaching materials, practice time, attunements, and certificate. reiki shows up magnificently at this level - wondrous strange, and exhilarating! sacred stone healing & reiki*
two weekday evenings, taught twice annually, 6pm-10pm, $395 (includes 35 healing crystals for you to take home)

communicate with sacred stones in a reiki way! you'll learn how to speak directly with crystals, practice five stone cleansing techniques, program your stones with reiki, receive a shamanic stone attunement, make your own stone healing mat, create your first, intuitive, full-body layout that combines reiki and crystal healing, and take home the stone people you work with in class. stonework produces incredible results - this class is FUN! karuna reiki ®: karuna I&II master class*
three month intensive meeting one saturday each month, taught once annually, noon-8pm, $895

karuna reiki is an expression of the evolving nature of reiki, and is incredibly sweet. karuna means compassionate action, and adds 8 amazing new reiki symbols, and powerfully deepens your intuition and connection to spirit. you will be ready to teach karuna I&II master levels by the end of the course, and will have explored the shadow self, practiced chanting, toning, and attuning, and be registered by ICRT. karuna is the most gentle and powerful reiki I know - magic! 7th annual reiki retreat*
two day retreat, offered once annually, noon-8pm, $333

details for the 2013 reiki retreat TBA, to be held in the heart of the sacred santa cruz mountains. enjoy connecting with the wisdom of the milky way and ancestor trees, learning new techniques and contemporary applications for reiki in daily life, and enjoying the company of kindred reiki folks with potluck meals, storytelling by the campfire, and good community. this space is a haven - mark your calendars, and plan to come play. lightarian reiki®: classes I-VI*
accelerated distant workshops, $195 for lightarian I&II, $95 for lightarian III, IV, V&VI

lightarian reiki is about intentionally accelerating your spiritual growth, with strong connection to healing masters. lightarian reiki®, based on the teachings of ascended master buddha, deepens reiki practice beyond the vibration of usui and karuna reiki®. no new symbols are introduced in this reiki modality, which instead focuses on working directly with healing masters and the higher self, and broadens the spectrum of healing abilities. it'll knock your socks off, in the best way! (*prereq is a) reiki III AND karuna levels I&II, or b) the karuna-equivalent 'buddhic boost,' included with lightarian I&II). details
