the reiki retreat is a loving, joyful space for reikifolks to come together and enjoy the medicine of fellow lightworkers. this year, there is incredible magic waiting for us in a few ways - we'll be on one of the most sacred places on the planet, mt shasta, at one of the most potent times of year, summer solstice. places of sanctuary, growth and healing are vital for lightworkers at this time - come and be nourished, friends.

the emergent theme this year is AMPLIFICATION. any time we come together, we amplify reiki energy. to amplify even further, we'll add shasta, shamanic work, sound healing, walking meditation, reiki shares and attunements.

WHEN, WHERE & HOW MUCH
saturday june 18, 2pm-10pm & sunday, june 19, 9am-5pm

two days on mount shasta at summer solstice - woohoo! we'll meet at our campsite on day one, enjoy opening ceremony, refresher reiki attunements gifted by mount shasta herself, and an experiential workshop on reiki, sound and breath. as night falls, and our organic, artisan dinner arrives, we'll have time to enjoy storytelling by the campfire, before we head down to sleep snug in town. on day two, we'll enjoy a hot breakfast berryvale-style before we head to middle earth for a vibrational singing bowl sweat, and then back to the mountain for some shamanic work and a closing reiki share. $333 retreat cost includes: shamanic reiki attunements, 3 healing workshops, discounted hotel, reiki share, and two organic meals. retreat begins 2pm sat, concludes at 5pm sun.

WORKSHOP: SHAMANIC REIKI ATTUNEMENTS
level one reiki attunement refresher, shamanically crafted

this intense workshop sets the stage for our whole retreat, blending the great blessings of mama shasta, shamanic healing, and reiki attunement energy. before the physical event occurs, I'll journey to mama shasta, the spirit of the reiki retreat, and usui sensei to ask for a reiki attunement to be crafted specifically for the group on the mountain. once we're together, that shamanic attunement will be triggered by a traditional shoden level initiation. sitting in gassho on mama shasta is sublime, and attunements are cosmically so - here come shamanic reiki attunements!

WORKSHOP: REIKI & SHAMANISM
learn to journey, connect with the spirit of reiki (with live drumming)

both shamanism and reiki work through the hollow bone of the practitioner to bring healing into the world. after calling in the directions, we'll enjoy a quick primer on how to journey shamanically, and leap on in for two journeys with live drumming. no previous experience is required, and everyone can learn to journey. by blending reiki and shamanism, we can draw on the best strengths of both modalities and create a heightened, potent healing experience. for example, we can do shamanic work, anchor that work in an object, and later trigger and deliver it with reiki. this work is triply potent on mama shasta, where the energy is so intense. expect to be strongly guided here, by reiki, your compassionate helping spirits, and mama shasta. joyful medicine blessings to you!

WORKSHOP: CLAIMING YOUR VOICE, YOUR HEALING POWER
how to heal with sound, breath, and reiki

sound is a vibration, reiki is a vibration, and the two combined can amplify and deepen the healing potential of the other. through the use of instruments, our own vocalization, breath, and a bucket of experiential play, we'll discover how to honor our voices in a healing way. we'll leap onto healing tables and explore how chanting, toning, and instruments can blend with reiki to dissolve energy blocks and old patterns, and lighten our spirits. learning to use your voice and body as healing tools is a beautiful step in our healing journey, and promotes wellness for all of creation. this work can be combined with shamanic journeywork, which you learn on the second day. let your heart sing!

VIBRATIONAL STONE SINGING BOWL 'SWEAT'
at middle earth

middle earth offers seven rooms full of sentient stones, and is magic beyond what I can describe. bev has very graciously agreed to open the space for us, and lead us in a vibrational singing bowl sweat. this works like a traditional sweat, but uses sound vibration instead of heat. the first round is for personal healing, the second is for unity consciousness, and the third is for galactic and universal harmony. these powerful vibrational attunements use more than fifty sacred stone singing bowls! this is a really incredible thing to experience, and rare. your retreat attendance covers the cost of the attunement experience, and whatever you donate to the room funds more bowls, and makes you part of middle earth forever. may we all find miracles beyond our wildest imaginings.

LOGISTICS
nuts & bolts

- CARPOOL: once registered, you're in our google groups carpool list. attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to mt shasta, which is 275 miles north of san francisco. happy carpooling, friends!

- LODGING: we have a 15% group discount at the delightful cold creek inn. attendees are responsible for reserving and arranging lodging. our rate applies to fri, sat, and sun nights. shasta is MAGIC - consider an extra night!

- FOOD: organic dinner on sat and breakfast on sun are included in the cost of the retreat. berryvale grocery is in the heart of shasta's mountain town, and is a great place for food outside of our retreat dinner & breakfast.
